PLANO, TEXAS — The Sears Master Protection Agreement and repair service is a scam. Recently, my electric baking sheet (literally had a crack from overheating) and I had a technician come to evaluate it for repair. The technician took photos and made a video conference to show the damaged device. He left the order that I call the technical department for further instructions and that there was nothing else to do. After all, I terminated both contracts because I didn`t push them to do the job. I pay every month by the hour, but I can`t have my air conditioning/heating maintained. My claim degenerated to a case manager, I called and I called several messages to speak to a superior and never receive a reminder. I do not recommend anyone to use this company because the level of service they offer is TERRIBLE. BEWARE – this company bears the Sears brand, but they are not at all reliable. Sears, a company that has established itself in the service and repair sector, has been offering home warranty plans since 2014.

This is the ABSOLUE WORST warranty service that I have ever addressed. Sears Home Warranty was just good at deducting my monthly fee for using their services. I have already used their services for two properties for over a year and I have never had any serious problems in one of the two houses where I had to use their service. (with the exception of Alaska), which include all free preventative calls to keep devices and systems in top shape. Watch out for this terrible plan. I bought the Sears Home Warranty Plan for $49.99 a month. I have filed an application and they charge you an additional $75.00 for each claim that is not disclosed when you sign up. Then I filed a claim to repair my washing machine and Sears plus called service technology and sms to confirm that I was at home. I called the technical service number where they told me that the damage was classified cosmetic and that it was not covered by the MPA. First, I don`t understand how it can be considered cosmetic. Second, the technician couldn`t bear to mention it directly to me (knowing maybe it was a lie). When I finally asked for a new review, I was told that it was not possible and that there was nothing else to do. It`s a perfect scam. They pass you from one department to another. You cannot challenge decisions or file complaints.
