To access our internet banking service, you must use the identification number and/or other access options that we set up or provide to your account with a password. Anyone to whom you give your online bank identification number and password or other access options has full access to your accounts, even if you are trying to restrict that person`s authority. You are responsible for defining and maintaining strict procedures to protect against unauthorized transactions. You accept that no person can initiate transfers in the absence of adequate oversight and security and agree to take appropriate steps to maintain the confidentiality of security procedures and all passwords, codes, security equipment and related instructions we provide. If you believe that an unauthorized person has accessed such information, you should inform the bank immediately orally by contacting your local agency. If, after normal business hours, you contact us by email at support@ or if you leave us a message at 1-866-638-0552. All emails and messages are sent the next business day during normal bank hours on Monday – Thursday, except for federal holidays, 9:00 – 17:00 and Friday, except on public holidays, 9:00 – 18:00. Balances in your account may include deposits that we need to verify. The reflected balance may differ from your records because current deposits, ongoing audits or other payments, payments or fees are made. A transfer request must be submitted before 21:00 p.m EST to be effective on the same business day. Transfers booked after 9:00 p.m. .m EST on Fridays, weekends and the eve of a federal holiday are only booked the next business day. You can revoke the use of Union Bank`s online banking services at any time, including, but not limited to, electronic statements, electronic communications, bill payments, etc.
The use of all services can be revoked by contacting your local representative or by contacting our online banking support at 866-638-0552, Monday to Thursday except on public holidays, during hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Fridays, except on public holidays, during opening hours from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You must have sufficient money or credit available in an account from which you order us to make a payment or bank transfer. If one of your qualifying accounts is a money savings or account exit account, you can only make six (6) transfers to your account per account cycle, at least three of which can be made by checking or withdrawing by third parties by design or similar order. No online bank access account should be designated as requiring more than one signature for payments, transfers or invoices. If a transfer, credit payment or invoice payment is initiated in your favour through an online bank, you agree that we can debit the (s) account (s) indicated (s) without a signature being required on the item and without notification. You also accept the “conditions of your deposit account” that you received when you opened your deposit account.
